Matthew D. Baylor

Matthew D. Baylor joined Ellison Lazenby as an associate in 2019. Mr. Baylor’s practice consists of representing clients in commercial litigation, business disputes, and the resolution of real estate issues.

Mr. Baylor attended the Florida State University, where he obtained both his undergraduate and Juris Doctor degrees. At Florida State, Mr. Baylor was a member of the Journal of Land Use and Environmental Law and received a Certificate in Environmental and Land Use Law, with honors. Prior to joining Ellison Lazenby, Mr. Baylor practiced with a respected construction litigation firm where he focused on resolving surety and construction issues, as well as, business and commercial litigation. Mr. Baylor has also worked in-house for one of the country’s largest title insurance companies.

Matt is a Florida native, born and raised in St. Petersburg. Outside of the office, he enjoys spending time with his family and friends, golfing, and watching Florida State athletics.
